The Mahana Resort - If you are familiar with West Maui, you will already know The Mahana is truly a premier property with spectacular oceanfront views.  Just steps to the sandy Kaanapali beach, you will be led on a two and one half mile stretch of incredible ocean beauty.  This AAA Three Diamond resort consists of twin towers containing 215 units on five acres.   Designed with a sense of peace and privacy,  you are close to championship golf courses, great restaurants and shopping.   
Ground floor for great convenience, Unit 114 at The Mahana is one bedroom unit has a king-size bed with one bath and the living room has a queen sofa bed with a new 8 inch mattress!  The unit serves four guests very comfortably.  The kitchen is fully equipped including refrigerator with ice maker, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, blender and all kitchen utensils.  Also included for your convenience is salt and pepper, spice rack, plastic wrap, foil, baggies, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, starter size shampoo/conditioner and hair blow dryer.  All linens are provided including extra bedding and towels.  Also available for your use are beach towels and a cooler. 
The unit has two flat screen televisions with remotes, one in the living room with a DVD player and one in the bedroom.  A stereo is provided in the living room with CD player and a docking station.  Central air conditioning, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board and extra hangers all make your stay more relaxing.  The tiled lanai is spacious with patio table and four chairs.  The unit is approximately 1056 square feet and the interior is decorated in Hawaiian motif.

An important feature Maui Beach Condos offers to their guests is the owners, Ben and Evie Leland live on Island and are there to assist you should you need anything, or if there is any concerns regarding your accommodations.  Many owners who rent, live on the mainland which can potentially create problems if there is a need for assistance.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel more than 60 days prior to your arrival date I refund the deposit, if less than 60 days, this is non-refundable booking. Any cancellation or change needed to your reservation will incur a $50.00 fee.  High Season is always NON refundable.

Wow what I can I say, we had the best experience staying in this unit. The sound of the waves crashing at night while laying in bed was probably the highlight. Furniture and decor is just what I would expect from a condo in Maui. They stock the unit with all of your kitchen and household essentials, there is no need to buy anything like this. Upgraded appliances and nice walk in shower. We woke up every morning before sunrise and headed out to the lawn chairs just outside our patio and sat watching the sunrise, so peaceful. Location is perfect, just outside of the main hotel strip in Kaanapali, no need to valet your car and pay for parking every time you leave which is a plus. Pool is sufficient, we didn’t really go on vacation for this though so for us it was perfect for the few times we hung out there. I would rather be in the ocean. Highly suggest breakfast at Slappy Jacks (banana bread French toast or avocado toast) and Castaway Cafe (huevos rancheros or loco moco) while staying there. Our next visit to Maui we will be looking to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Maui. Alicia was wonderful with her communication, the check in and check out process was very smooth. She checked in with us before, during and after, just great. The accommodations were what we expected, clean, all the amenities and more. We really appreciated the beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc... the kitchen was well equipped, plenty of towels, and we grilled outside too. The view was spectacular, and we loved having the beach access next door. The first floor unit helped with our walking disabilities. We would definetly stay again!!!!

Stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect. Great location, quiet at night, beautiful sunsets, nice swimming beach 2 minute walk away. This place has it all. We have stayed in Maui several times and will be staying here again.

My family had a great experience staying at this property. The property was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. This is a ground floor unit right on the beach so our mornings were spent enjoying the views and drinking our coffee and our evenings were spent enjoying the beautiful sunsets. We also rented snorkel gear for the week and we were able to see many fish and turtles right out in front of the unit. This was great location with easy access to many restaurants, shops and the grocery store. Finally, the owners were extremely easy to work with. We highly recommend this property.

What I like about Mahana is that it is a low key resort unlike the mega resorts down the beach where you are competing for space with a thousand other guests. It is also unique because the master bedroom & family room both share beachfront views close to the water. You don’t have an angled view over a central pool and/ or giant lawn. The water is literally about 25 strides out the back of the lanai. My 1-5 rating for what’s is important to me as a guest for this unit: Location = 5 - see above plus close to store, food trucks, “Dukes” for lunch/dinner. Easy drive to Lahaina, Wailers Village, Kaanapali, or Kapalua. Functionality= 4 - sufficient kitchen, well stocke , wifi, TV’s, washer dryer, beach chairs, better quality furniture (wood floors and new furniture separate this unit from most). Bedroom=5. Big slider to Lanai and ocean breeze with sounds of the waves. Decent closet space and drawer space, super plush bed and pillows that were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Bathroom, sink, and shower area = 3.5. I gave it a 3.5 mostly to show that my 5 ratings above are not given out lightly. The bathroom area is 5 on cleanliness but water pressure and shower spray are just average, single sink is not as good as double sink and space is smaller than you will find elsewhere. I think that’s a fair description. Ease of access = 5. Walk straight from parking lot into ground floor unit without going through main lobby, climbing stairs or waiting for elevators. Walk in and out the back lanai to pool or beach. Only concern is if you care about the privacy of seeing people walking in the grass outside your unit. Especially in the bedroom you will want to use the privacy screens. Communication with host= 5. Alicia is great and helped us with every question we had in advance or after we arrived.
